Over many years, Nina has developed a diverse portfolio showcasing a variety of contemporary artworks. Her love of animals stems from childhood, with early memories of having hamsters and an old ginger tom cat in Islington, North London, England, where she spent her formative years.
She has always lived amongst animals of one form or another and her love of all creatures are very apparent in the many featured wildlife and domestic animals that she creates. They even pop up in her ocean resin art. These days her animals consist of a couple of cats, a dog and guinea fowl. Far from her beginnings in the heart of a throbbing metropolis, she now lives near the coastal village of Old Bar on the Mid North Coast. Living close to the ocean and her trips to the Pacific Islands has inspired her resin artworks which she has really enjoyed doing as the work is very different from straight painting. Her work is diverse as she evolves through working with different mediums, each with their own challenges which keeps it interesting.
